About Howell Family Farms

Centrally located in Arlington, Texas, Howell Farms at Waples-Platter is one the more historically significant properties in the DFW Metroplex. Established in 1912 by Col. Paul Waples, the property was long shrouded in mystery. Tales of extravagant parties, attended by fabulous company, and a network of underground tunnels turned it into a fixture of local lore. Now, though the rumors have all been put to rest, interest in the nearly century year old farm continues to grow.
